My Fashion Week in Paris

Paris Fashion Week is over !

I had absolutely no time to prepare my articles as I usually do. Between the shows, the press presentations, the professional appointments, good time with friends I hadn’t seen in months, short nights (no more than 4 hours sleep) and jetlag, it was impossible for me to find time to tell you the story of my Fashion Week in Paris on a daily basis.

I will show you everything next week, when I’ll be back in New York and I’ll have time to sort and edit my pictures, and more hindsight to tell you about all the beautiful things I’ve seen.

Meanwhile, here is a little medley of my week in Paris :

Pictures with my friends ; breakfast in bed in Mon Hotel (thank you Snaptraveller for making me discover this lovely hotel – I was welcomed like a princess and had a spacious bedroom. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try the hammam. This address deserves to be remembered – it’s quiet and well located) ; a dinner at Le Daniel’s, the nearby restaurant (I strongly advice you to try their very good burgers and great desserts!) ; a return to the 90’s for Eleven Paris birthday party (I didn’t see Kate Moss nor Cara Delevingne and I barely saw Terry Richardson – I had seen him in New York, though – but I saw Doc Gyneco, Coolio and Boy George) ; a picture taken during my interview for Televisia’s news (Mexican TV) ; a few pictures of the runways, that I will show you better next week (except for Jean Paul Gaultier’s space trip that I published already), and of the presentations (Maje, Tara Jarmon, Swarovski, Rebecca Minkoff, but also Tommy Hilfiger (it was fun seeing the collection I had loved last month in New York for the second time!)…

I was followed by a lovely journalist and a lovely photograph, Anastasia and Pascal, for an article that should be out in a magazine next week – I’ll tell you more then.

As you can see, it was a very busy week!

Most of these pictures were taken and sent to Instagram and/or Facebook with XPERIA Z1 COMPACT, Sony’s new toy that I got to try during this Fashion Week. A very nice smartphone, available in neon yellow (the color I chose!) but also in black, white and raspberry pink. It has amazing technical characteristics, such as a very sophisticated and yet so easy to use camera, and – icing on the cake! – it’s waterproof! I can’t wait to try it this summer and make Instagrams under water! Moreover, in everyday life, it’s very nice to take your cellphone out in the rain without being afraid of getting it wet!

More info about SONY XPERIA Z1 COMPACT here.

Ok, I’ll leave you here with these digital memories and I’ll see you on Monday! Have a nice weekend, and enjoy the sun!

Merci d’avance! A bientot, Alais
