After the BCBGMAXAZRIA Runway and the Kate Spade and Coach presentations, let’s have a little break with a look, shall we?

I was invited to several shows on Saturday : Ruffian, Son Jung Wan and Hervé Léger. I had loved the first two in last September, but I overslept and wasn’t ready for the Ruffian show at 9 A.M ; then I missed the entry for Son Jung Wan by only a few minutes. I finally watched the show on the screens in the hall, and I actually thought I had a better view from there than from inside the arena! So if you’re curious, go take a look at Son Jung Wan runway pictures; it was really beautiful, with hologram prints, crazy golden lipsticks, mix of furs and metallic leather.

As for Hervé Léger, you’ll know everything tomorrow in my daily report, with pictures of the show and the after show! But first, let’s talk about daily outfits during the Fashion Week.

I don’t usually do much effort during the Fashion Week. I spend a little time every night preparing my outfit for the day after. When I wake up, I don’t like it anymore and I end up trying half of my wardrobe in a panic, and finally leave the house being already late and not convinced at all by what I’m wearing! So yes, I desperately try to avoid being too badly dressed, but let’s be honest, I know I will be surrounded by people I can’t compete with. And it’s fine like that because I’m not here for a streetstyle battle!

I don’t have a photograph on the catwalk to take pictures for me while I peacefully enjoy the show, nor do I have a professional team to do my hair and make-up. I do everything myself during the Fashion Week. Yes, Ma’am! And that’s what makes it so exciting and stressful at the same time!

Anyway, I’m not the kind who will spend hours in front of the Lincoln Center hoping to attract streetstyle photographers. I don’t want to get sick because of current Siberian temperatures, and I don’t want to miss my pictures because my feet hurt. I just want to look pretty, to feel good, and to take some nice pictures to share with you. I don’t really care about anything else! And I spend much more time on my Macbook writing articles and editing photos than thinking about my daily outfits…

That day though, it seems like I was well inspired (sleeping late effect, perhaps?) because a lot of photographers liked my lavender, yellow and pearl grey outfit combined with my white chapka. The funniest moment was when I met my Fashion Week acolyte Emilie at the end of the show : we didn’t plan anything and yet it really looked like we did because we were wearing perfectly matching colorful outfits! We had a lot of success! It was a bit disturbing but rather nice 😉

Romain wasn’t working on Saturday, so he picked me up at the end of the show and took pictures of my outfit for me to share it with you.

So I hope you’ll like it.

See you tomorrow for the pictures of Hervé Léger show and the after show party on the Standard hotel rooftop!
