A little outfit to start the week.

We had a hard time shooting this weekend… Weather was so bad : rain, wind and fog for almost the whole weekend. I’m so tired of winter. I want sun, and colors.

So to thumb my nose at greyness and rain… I was wearing… lemon yellow! If only that could make the sun come out…

A few months ago, I was asked to be part of a nice collaboration with MALOLES for their tenth anniversary. For the occasion, the brand – mostly known for its lovely pleated flat shoes – asked five bloggers to create 10 models in limited edition, inspired by the five continents. After the Hawaii floral print – sailor shirt mix and the ultra classic trench, here is the third and last outfit for 3 SUISSES.

This time, I must confess I cheated with temperatures. We’re still far from wearing short sleeves, open toes and shorts here in New York! When I’m writing this, it’s less than 0° outside – don’t worry, it wasn’t that cold when we took the pictures, my dedication and my resistance to cold are limited! Last weekend, in the middle of New York winter temperatures, a few sunrays warmed up the weather for a while.

I seized the opportunity to wear my dear little IKKS jacket that I love so much, and my Le Coq Sportif & Heimstone sneakers, spotted on Aurélia and then worshipped in Paris on my dear Brunette’s feet.

In the pantheon of essential and timeless pieces, TRENCH COAT occupies a significant position.

This second outfit in collaboration with 3 SUISSES was elaborated around a trench. Although it’s available in several colors, such as powder pink and navy blue, but also mint green and bright red, I chose the ultra classic trench color : beige.

I played with blue color blocks on shoes and handbag. I’m also wearing a nude pink cardigan and a tousled braid to look more feminine and break the sophisticated aspect of trench coats.
