Ok.

Here we are.

I turned 30 last Monday…

I had a “thirty-year-old crisis” last week : “I don’t wanna be ooold…” Like Ally MacBeal, for those of you who know this ancient TV show. I’m counting my grey hair, and it’s taking more and more time…

So be it : I got a tattoo and I cut my hair!

I’ll tell you more about the tattoo very soon, it’s not quite healed yet.

As for my bob, my hair had been treated badly for too long and it really looked like straw. Lately, I had to make a bun … READ MORE

Back to New York after one month away! I’m finally getting back to normal!! It was nice being in “slow motion” for a while, though, and I have hundreds of pictures and stories to share with you in the weeks to come.

Let’s start with an article that has been waiting for almost a month, about my short trip to Los Angeles. We had three days to visit the neighborhood before flying to Australia.

We spent our first afternoon and our first night in Hollywood. I must say I didn’t really appreciate the atmosphere…

Here are a few pictures of … READ MORE

Here is my last post about my wonderful week in Reunion island! I made the pleasure last, but now I must close this travel diary in order to better open a new one.

The last days were very different from the beginning.

Indeed, as I told you in my previous article, Celinette had already gone and the program was less intense, so I had time for farniente, which I actually really enjoyed.

Losing my dear partner in the middle of the trip gave me the opportunity to get to know four travel bloggers that were here too. It was very … READ MORE

Here is the last but one article about Reunion Island, and an important one ! On the fourth day, we woke up with a knot in our stomach : we felt anxious, excited and nostalgic at the same time. It was Célinette’s last day – she had to take a plane for Paris to shoot a wedding (by the way, if you’re getting married, I strongly advise you to check her portfolio here), but it also was the day of our helicopter flight over the island !

You have to know that I HATE flying machines : I’m afraid … READ MORE

Here is a little « outfit » break in the middle of my travel diary, because it seems that some of you wish to see more clothes around here.

By the way, I’d like to make myself clear about a few things to avoid misunderstandings…

Some of you complained about seeing more and more travel articles on my blog.

It is true that I’ve been moving a lot lately : a weekend in Montreal, a trip to Reunion island, a few days in L.A and a road trip in Australia right now (I’m writing this from a little picnic spot … READ MORE

(no photo collage of my iPhone pictures to start my article today, I’ll add them later, i didn’t have time to do it. I’m in Australia right now and I don’t want to spend much time in front of my computer!)

Here is the story of our third day on the island!

After a good breakfast at the Diana Dea and an orientation course that became difficult due to our non reliable GPS, we joined Philippe, our guide to the Piton de la Fournaise, one of the world’s most active volcano, which peaks at 2632 meters high. We walked through … READ MORE
